Nanci Tellam is the Group Director of Environmental Services and Sustainability. In this position, Ms. Tellam is responsible for advancing environmental awareness throughout the organization and ensuring that Ryder has the appropriate environmental practices and controls necessary to manage environmental risks and customer needs effectively. Ms. Tellam joined Ryder in 1992 as a Field Environmental Analyst, implementing training, auditing, and environmental management programs for Ryder’s maintenance and operations teams. Since that time, Ms. Tellam has continued to increase her area of responsibility in the environmental services organization. Over the course of her 17-year tenure with the Company, Ms. Tellam has helped to evolve Ryder’s environmental program from being primarily compliance-focused to proactively delivering world-class environmental solutions that are fully integrated with the company’s overall business and management strategy. Ms. Tellam holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, a master’s degree in Education from Tufts University, and a bachelor’s degree from Clark University. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the National Association of Environmental Professionals.
