Gene Sevilla-Sacasa is the Vice President of International Supply Chain Solutions at Ryder, where he is responsible for overseeing international operations in Mexico, Canada and Asia. Prior to his current role, Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa was the Vice President and Managing Director of Ryder Mexico. Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa joined Ryder in November 1983 as a staff financial analyst. Over the course of his career at Ryder, Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa has held roles of increasing responsibility in finance and operations. Prior to joining Ryder, Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa was a financial analyst for Latin America in the International Department of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., Inc., in Wilmington, Delaware. He also held several positions of increasing responsibility in Sovipe Ingenieros, a construction and real estate developer in Managua, Nicaragua with operations throughout Central America. Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Instituto Technologico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Ryder Federal Credit Union, past President of the U.S. – Mexico Chamber of Commerce, InterAmerican Chapter, Latin American Board-Member of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a member of the Society of International Business Fellows.
